Du, Ke, Ph.D., P.Eng., Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Calgary, has been actively engaged in the development and application of advanced sensing systems for monitoring air pollutant emissions since 2005. His expertise spans chemiresistive sensors, optical remote sensing, and satellite remote sensing. Over the years, he has developed sensor-based monitoring technologies to detect fugitive emissions of greenhouse gases and particulate matter from various sources, contributing to improved environmental monitoring and emissions management.
