Mike Hunter

Mike has spent the last 13 years working in Calgary, Alberta as an engineer with a focus on municipal wastewater treatment. As a consultant Mike has contributed to process improvements at over a dozen wastewater treatment facilities and loves developing strategic and opportunistic solutions for existing plant upgrades and expansions. At WEFTEC 2025, Mike is excited to share findings from a full-scale piloting effort for densified activated sludge at one of the largest cold weather BNR secondary treatment facilities in North America.
