Erika Bailey
Erika Bailey has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech. Erika has 28 years of water and wastewater engineering experience. Erika joined Raleigh Water in 2016, and through September 2022 served as Senior Process Engineer for the Resource Recovery Division, where she provided technical and process support, such as planning for the City’s Bioenergy Recovery Project. Erika is now serving as one of Raleigh Water’s Assistant Department Directors working with Raleigh Water’s Capital Improvements Program Division. Prior to 2016, Erika worked as a consulting engineer and has 20 years of water and wastewater consulting experience. Erika has also been actively involved with many different water and wastewater member organizations, including the WEF, WRF, and is past Chair of WEF’s RISE community and is participating on the WEF RNG Task Force.
