Arifur Rahman

Dr. Arifur Rahman is a Senior Water Resource Recovery Technologist at Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. who has been involved with the functional design of numerous water resource recovery facilities across the USA. His technical interests include energy recovery, high-rate activated sludge systems, carbon and nutrient redirection and capture from domestic wastewater, nutrient removal and recovery systems for domestic wastewater treatment, pilot-scale reactor design and operation, and process modeling. Dr. Rahman has also expertise in wet-weather flow management such as peak flow storage design. Dr. Rahman is involved in various research and development related projects including high rate activated sludge technology, and biological nutrient removal systems.
