Ian Watson

Ian Watson is a Technology Development Manager at USP Technologies. He has a background in chemical engineering and 23 years of experience in wastewater treatment chemistries, focusing on municipal collection systems and treatment plant process chemistries. Ian's areas of expertise include odor control in wastewater and biosolids, nutrient management and disinfection process control. With a focus on innovation and new product development, he is responsible for technology development and deployment of new chemical treatment applications, as well as support of USP digital and marketing initiatives and is USP's product development lead for USPVista™ and OaSys iCT™. Ian is also the past chair of the California Water Environment Association's Engineering and Research Committee and current vice chair of the the WEF Air Quality and Odor Community.
